Willen Well-Known Member Jan 2, 2013 #1 2n3866 has total dissipation of 5 watt, but it can produce only 1.5 watt RF on FM band (on Tx), normally. How much maximum power can i get from these on FM tx:- 2n3553 2n4427 2n2219 2sc1971 2sc1970 Normally guess for me.

unclejed613 Well-Known Member Most Helpful Member Jan 3, 2013 #2 look up the data sheets on https://www.datasheetarchive.com/ they usually state the test conditions and usually Pout is stated in the test data. btw if some of the test conditions state a supply voltage of 28V, it's because the device was probably used in military applications.
