how i can input data to PIC

hello every one

I hope get some examples about
1.INPUT Data(as 1 byte) from pic to the PIC
how i can do that with C or Assembly

2.can i implement a TCP/IP stack on my PIC and Connect my PIC to wires directly.

1. Use the UART, SPI, or I2C ports on the PICs. THe datasheets will tell you everything you need to know about them.

2. I do not know.
