Hi there!

I seeking information/help on a soultion to interfacing a 4x4 hex keypad to operate as a control for a light dimmer. I want to set it up so that when 3 specific keys are pressed once, the light dims brighter, and once those same keys are pressed again it will illuminate even more. Any soultions or ideas on going about this will be highly appreicated.

-Thanks

This is very simple to do.
You need to know the pin-out of the keypad and how the keys are matrixed.
Take the outputs to a 3-input AND gate and provide a delay to a charge-pump circuit. When the keys are activated in a prescribed sequence, the output of the circuit will be higher.

But I don't know how to dim brighter a globe.
