I am involved with the Knights of Columbus, a catholic men's organization that are purchasing 3 billboard signs for our PRO-LIFE campaigne. Going to erect at the three entrances to Salmon, Idaho.
Signs are 8ft x 16 ft. Would like to light them up but using solar power for electricity.
Ideas I have are to use high wattage LEDs powered using PWM to save on electricity consumption.
Second idea is to have a headlight sensor that when a vehicle approaches the sign light up for a short period.
Just starting to research this project seeing how the quote I got from a company in Florida is $12000 with $975 shipping.
Just starting research but trolling for ideas.
