G Gandledorf New Member Jan 13, 2004 #1 I'm looking for some IR LED's, right now most I can find don't exceed 40mW/sr, although I have found one at 80mW/sr. I read that most remotes get 100mW/sr, and was looking for ones in the range of 100mW/sr - 500mW/sr Has anyone had any luck looking for these? Additionaly, if anyone knows where to buy ultrabright LEDs, in excess of 10000mcd, I would appreciate the lead. Thanks!

P Patchouli New Member Feb 3, 2004 #4 Hi Gandledorf, Vishay TSAL6100s are cheap (0.21 USD at Mouser) and can do 1000mW/sr @ 1A with a 100uS fractional duty cycle. Bright enough? **broken link removed**
