I would like to build a small platform about 2 inches tall which incorporates a small motor which ran from a small DC battery and have it operated from a handheld remote transmitter like a car alarm clicker so that when you click the remote the motor would make a quick half revolution and return to its home position. I would like the remote to work from about 75' away. I have no experience with these sorts of things I am just looking into this for a small hobbie project. Just wondering if anyone would know where I could find some help. I live in Utah.

Thanks

Hi, you can use linx technology premade remote to send the signal to a pic microcontroller. The linx tranmitter sould work up to around 300' or more. You can buy all of the these products from digikey and should cost you under a hundred bucks to make. If you need more help in building one let me know :)
