help with project plz

hi there please i am doing a project on an automatic multipurpose siren system that switches automatically b/w ambulance,police and fire brigade sounds. I discovered that a um3561 aound generator ic does thid but i do not know how to swith automatically b/w the three sounds though i have a schematic that produces these sounds using the ic it usese only a 2 pole 4 way switch to manually select the individual sounds no auto switching that cycles b/w the three. Any help enyboby it is almost late now oin fact i just need the schematic plus a manual option along with the auto if possible so one can select what u need as use requires.
please can anyone help

You can replicate a manual switch with an analog switch like a CD4066, and a three or four state counter. Each clock pulse would advance the counter, which would change the configuration of the analog switches, which would change the sound.

There might be other better ways, but I have to go get ready for work.

I don't get Celebrex spam but have seen TV ads that don't explain what it is for. I don't know and don't care what it is for.

Celebrex is arthritis pain medicine. Combine it with Viagra and what would normally take an old man all night long to accomplish, now becomes the opposite where he accomplishes all night long!

That's true, exercise is one of the best ways to spice up your love life. Cycling is probably the best forms of exercise as it increases blood flow around the groin area and it's probably best to do this with your partener as you'll both reap the benifits.

papabravo thanks for the advice and i'll be sure to work on it now. In fact right now i am checking on counters and cd4066 ics and when i get hopefully i'll work it out and be home and dry.Though all the counters i can see so far all look so complex but i still believe. thanks

The CD4066 has 4 electronic switches in it just like on the circuit that uses mechanical switches. Just connect the switches the same as in the circuit. Then connect the outputs of the counter to the control inputs of the CD4066 so it sequences the way you want. You might need to gate together some of the counter outputs, then the gate drives the CD4066.

hey audioguru sorry its me i am in a fix with this stuff i got your reply but well i have no knowlegde of circuits all i can do is just arrange and solder a predesigned one thatz why i asked for a schematic b4. I still need help. Like the counter can i have examples of IC names for 3 state counters i can ue. and the main problem is i do not know how to connect pin for pin the Cd4066,the counter and the um3561 to cycle btweem the 3 sounds i want from the un3561. How do i do this ?non of my guys hee know in fact how???
