Im looking for a voltage regulator of some kind that can output about 2vdc or lower and 1 amp. Ive found a few adjustable ones in that area but Id like to see how low I can go THANKS!

And you can go down to zero volts out, if the sensing lead for this IC goes to a -1.2v supply.An LM317 is good for as low as 1.2V @ 1.5A if properly heatsinked.
What will they think of next?Linear Technologies has the LT3080, a low dropout (300mV) 1.1A regulator that can be adjusted down to 0V. That's as low as you can go.
