I need to limit the amount of current going to a capacitor bank the capacitors can hold 1600uF's each and I have 5 of them I want the 6 capacitors to be fully charged in about 25 seconds my question is how many ohms of resistance would I want so that I could do this
I have 6 caps each holds 1600 uF at 200 volts
the voltage going in is about 150

assume that the circuit reaches the steady state in five time constant T.

T=RC,
T is your time=25 sec and C is the net value of capacitance.
From this you will get value of R
