help to identify

i have some diode/sensor or what it is !! can u tell me what r there and how i can make a photo sensor with it ???

i am enclosing a pic (i am good in drawing) !!!

It looks like an LDR: Light dependent resistor.

To confirm this, measure its resistance with an ohmeter (DMM in ohms range) and expose it to ligth (the resistance should drop down) and to darknes (hide it from the light - the resistance should go up)

now can u tell me how to make a photo sensor with it so i can make a line follower ???
