Hi all,

Got a Freescale IC but cannot determine what it is, confident it's a MCU of some sort, I have tried all the usual google searches and Freescale product searchs, but cannot fond the datasheet for it, anyone help?

16pin DIP, IC Markings are

P9S08QG8
CPBE 1M77
RMAD0537

Thanks in advance :)

Possibly a flash memory?

Sure it's a MCU

Thanks KMoffett but I have been told it is a MCU, well the guy said it's get "assembly code" in it so I think we can say it's a MCU.

Assuming it is a a microcontroller?, then it's quite possibly a mask-programmed one, and is the property of whoever had it made. Because of this the number isn't going to be listed anywhere, nor will there be a datasheet for it.
