i am designin a isp for 89s52 i downloaded the isp programmer from atmel site but when i connect the system to pc it was giving some errror message like the device is not found like that even i checked everything and found ok but the programmer not working can anybody help me on this regards

Yep, but could you post the schematix of your device, so that we could discuss it in a bit more detail? It's really hard to say why does it give you the error if we don't even have a clue of what have you done ...
