Help - Proximity alarm

I would like to build two circuits, where if one comes within 2m of the other a buzzer will sound anyone have any Ideas on how i could do this?

They wouldn't work

All the sensors there are mainly to detect motion, i need to detect when a specific object is a certain distance away.

If its always going to be a set distance, and its not too far, you could consider using a InfraRed module with logic output, to make some IR Break beams.
