Help Programming the 16F648a

I am trying to program the 16F648a but every time I do my programmer (one avalible from TechSupplies/PICAXE) says that it is not inserted correctly or is not blank. I cannot erase it but I can program the data and configuration memory.
I have three of these PICs all with the same problem.
Any help given is appreciated.

Does your programmer specifically support the 16F648A?.

Yeah it does. Got it working now, emailed them and got an update for the software and works great 8)
