Hi! I'm a novice with electronics, so I need a some help designing this fun little project.

I have a mid-century rotary phone. I want to make a device so that when you pick up the receiver, you can hear a message playing on a continuous loop.
This is similar to a talking greeting card, but I need the recording to be about an hour long and pick up where it left off.

Can you help me?!

Go to a thrift shop or a garage sale and find an old audio cassette recorder/player. They are dime a dozen around here...

Hacking into the motor start/switch should be easy...
