Can anyone suggest me which book is better to stick with for a sound concept and problem solving skills ?
Electronic Circuits - Donald Neamen or
Microelectronics - Sedra/Smith

My vote of the two choices you named would be Sedra/Smith's Microelectronic Circuits, 6th edition if you're able to acquire it. Otherwise 5th edition will work nicely.

My personal suggestion though, while Art of Electronics is a great book, is Circuit Design of the Newnes Know-It-All series published by Elsevier.

And since you are already at this forum, you should look into this posting.....
