help choosing component

hi all i have bought some flexible led smd lights from ebay

i want to add them to this circuit i have made replace the led's with the smd strips
so i need to replace Q1 to Q8 but with what componant i say componant as i have been advised to use others so i will ask some experts what to use (logic fets)
i do not know the power consumption but have asked the supplier for help

Can you measure the current draw at 12V?

Presumably you want to power the LED strips off 12V, while the PIC runs on 5V?

Best bet is an NPN switching transistor per strip, but I need to know the current.
