Hello please help

Hiii... I have done diplomma in ECE and i start building ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS..
I am. Well aware of all parts and their functioning...
But every part or components are of so may types...
How will i came to know which transistor(or any other component) to use and with which resistor value which capacitor how may volt and amp to give...PLEASE HELP TELL ME WHERE TO START

What exactly did they teach you..... Basic current flow teaches the majority of you query.. Every device has an accompanying datasheet... Now the diploma is out of the way, time to start learning!!

As you know, you will only learn when you "do" it.
Set out to make something.
Then it will all come into place.

and you can "do" it only if you have some idea about what component does what. Do you know what a Resistor, Capacitor, Inductor does? How a Transistor works?
