Hi every body i have a question that what is the limit of voltage and current on which gyrators can work. Can we build gyrators which can work on 1000 volt. What will they do. I think they will make 1000 volt into 0.001 volt i.e 1/1000, the inverse of 1000 volts. How can we use them to make our supply of our homes 110 volts into 1/110 volts. Thank you.
 
As i know, the gyrator only a special circuit with opamp. To the gyrator input connected capacitor appear on output as inductivity.
Never heard about high voltage application...
