Anybody know what it means when a compent is described as follows:

Pins to suit a .100" grid.

Does this mean that say, a 3 pin(triangular) component will have two pins on the corners(.100" apart) and the third pin on the other edge of the .100 x .100 square?

It means that if you take a piece of 0.1 inch perfboard, the component will fit without bending any pins. :lol:
 
vertical/horizontal hole spacing (not diagonal)
