I am a Boy Scout leadr and I have a scout wanting to build a graphic equalizer with a tone control circuit included.(am the electronics merit badge counslor)
I found several circuits using parts that I can't locate

the tone control circuit is no problem= use a lm1036n
the equalizer circuit uses a ba3812l or a lmc835n
basically he wants to input his tv, stereo, etc.then output to some speakers.
found several circuits at https://electronic-circuits-diagrams.com/audioimages/audiockt12.shtml
https://wiredworld.tripod.com/tronics/mixer.html
the circuits at wiredworld looks good but parts
any ideas or better circuits

Don't use an equalizer nor tone controls. Use better speakers instead.
If you turn up the high frequencies then you blow up the tweeters.
If you turn up the bass then you blow up the woofers.
If you turn up the mid-range frequencies then you blow up your hearing.
