Good freeware logic circuit simulator ?

Hi all,

Is there any freeware logic circuit simulator that you would recommand to people starting to learn digital electronic ? Something easy to use, yet complete with many ICs ?

I do all my stuff now with CPLD, FPGA and microcontrollers now so to be honest, I don't know any basic simulator !!!
