what are the significances of gerber top pad master and gerber bottom pad master for manufacturing?

The gerber top pad master is a gerber file with the extension .GPT and the bottom pad master is with the extension .GPB
Both incude pads information on their respective layer on the circuit board.

Hi Hans,

Actually my response was based on the link I had found and indicated in post #2.
But after your response:

Then came curiosity so I tried to generate a GPT and a GPB but I can't find a way to do it using Eagle 5.7
How do you generate these files?

It is said that pad master prints out only the pads and removes all vias, tracks, fills and arcs.
