Using NOR gates only
Required to design a circut , through any simulation.

Furnace Ignition :

The following are the required stpes for sucessfully firing an industrial furnace. Using the information given design a logic control system to solve the problem.

Oil temp, Air pressure and Fan must be present before the gas valve is opened. Once gas valve is opened, Igniter must fire the gas. Process should wait for flame to be sensed. Once flame has been sensed, close Valve, ope Oil valve. Indicator should change from red to green.

If the furnace does not reach the designed temperature , oil valve and gas valve must be close and an indicator must show red.

Using NOR gates only . wanting to design this through any simulation. With the steps mentioned above .

Any ideas ? Any Help ? Please. .. Im kinda lost really. Im bad a simulations and NOR gates.

Thanks.

Keep in mind that a NOR gate is also an inverted NAND, so you have both functions. If you use CMOS logic, an R-C delay can be used for timeing. Work it out and post your solution here for more help.
