A couple of questions concerning the full wave multiplier.
1. I am aware of the diode orientation differences with negative and positive half wave
multipliers. Is a negative output full wave set up possible?
2. With regard to the input signal.... Does the Full wave multiplier require or can it take twice
the input voltage that a half wave takes given the same component values... It would
appear to me that the circuit can take twice the voltage if you are running a single phase
centre tapped AC input.
3. Is a two phase ( 180° out of phase) input signal of a given voltage a superior input to a 2x
voltage single phase input for a full wave multiplier?
4. With 100ns rectifiers, what would be the highest frequency that the circuit realistically be
driven at?
5. Are there 40kv 40ma fast rectifier diodes available? if so where?
