Hello,

I want to design a PCB for FPGA prototyping. Please help me understand if I need to supply these voltages and why?

Vref
Vrefp
Vin

These voltages are from the Artix-7 Datasheet. I'm using the Artix - 7 236 pin BGA FPGA. I'm only using the FPGA for gigabit ethernet purpose, no LCD screen, no SUB, no other peripherals.

Your help is much appreciated.

Basically, my questions are:

what is the importance of Vref, Vrefp and Vin?

which SelectIO standard I need to use for gigabit ethernet applications?

I think these answers are in the data sheet. I was going to down load the many data sheets but...........
You can search a .PDF file. Type CtrlF then Vref and you will go to that page of the data sheet.
