I have a stepper that don't seam to have the power it should.
I was looking at Applied Motion Products web site **broken link removed**
It said that taking a stepper apart will cause them to demagnetized the stater, and loose torque, or fail completely.
If you use steppers, take a look at all the manifacture sites you can find.
