Kits are not that expensive. Are you rgoing to design it yourself, or you just want to build one?

Here's one that looks promising. Its all integrated in one IC which simplifies things a lot. Check this link:

The problem will be, of course, how do you buy this part? I don't know about that. Usually you have to find a Philips distributor nearby somewhere.
