Flashing Light And Fiber Optic

Hi,im doing a project consist of Flashing Led(the One That can blink only using a battery,without using 555 or any other coplicated board) and some fiber optic..the thing is i want to make the light travel to the end of the fiber optic(like the pic attached below),but the Problem Now is That The Light Wont Travel till the end.
