Do they make general filter IC's ( low pass, high pass, band pass etc.) ?

I'm having problems with my discrete component filters.

What are some of the general filter IC's (If they make them) ?
Where can I get them ?

Thanks,
-Areal

Need a little more info about frequency, bandwidth, signal level...

Years ago, National Semi made some good switched-capacitor lowpass and multi-purpose filter ICs for audio. I was the only person buying them so they discontinued most of them.
Now Maxim-IC has many.

General filtering IC's ( low pass, high pass, band pass etc.) ?

as long as there +0vdc

No one uses IC filters ? There all built using Discreet components ?

I used the National Semi LMF40 switched-capacitor 4th order Butterworth lowpass filter ICs. Maxim-IC has similar ones today. It made a very accurate filter.

The National Semiconductor LMF100CCN is still availible from Digikey

The LMF100 is a universal switched-capacitor IC. It needs many extra parts to make a simple lowpass filter. I used one to make a notch filter.
