FFC connector white

Hello
I have a DENON MD30 and I changed a belt and infact I did not open the FFC connectors and so I can't put the cable back in
This is in the middle of the photo
I can't see how to open it also it is not very accessible I might have to take it all apart just to be able to get at it better
It is all white - it is not easy to see if I need to lift a part of it and which part I think it must be the bottom on the facing side ? , please help !

I think that type doesn't open. You just need to push the flat cable back in.

Okay thanks I can see that one side of the ribbon cable has snagged so I will have to buy another one as there won't be any signal on that edge getting through. Do you know where I buy it from as it has on it AWM 20798 60V

Those can be repaired if you are careful. I don't know where to buy one from.

How do you repair it, do you have to join the broken metal 'wire' manually ? Thank you

Basically, yes. Scrape the insulation off on the side that looks like it has thinner insulation, and solder a bit of wire across the gap.
