ok, first post here.

what i need to make is a switch that can turn on and off about 20 times per second.

it is less than 5volts, and is less than half an amp that needs to be switched on and off.

anywhere from 10-30 times per second is acceptable. hopefully it can be all solid state, as in not using a mechanical switch, but if it has to, its ok.

thank you for any help you can offer.
part numbers, schematics or anything will be helpful.
Regards, Mattgr

True 3.3volts will turn many of them on. But still waiting to see the whole project or more information.

A FET is a better switch. But not enough details at this point.

Still trying to figure out what a switch that turns on and off at 20 times a second means.

It has been like that for years. Most people here just let it stay with no answer.

But sometime you ask them nice and tell will share more about what this secret circuit is going to do

Ahh! a cct then that produces a pulse train when triggered by a switch....
