F628A Comparator

i remember someone has posted the below question .. but a search didn't helped.

so.. can we use the internal comparator of the 628 as analog opamp, say for amplification.??..or is it just a 'comparator' ?

It works as comparator only. There is no way to use it as OpAmp. It would be great if it could do so...

Fortunatelly there is a PIC 16F785 which has 2x Op Amp !
