I English is not very good, so here to learn English is on one hand, on the other hand is to improve the technology. I am Chinese translation using Google translation, some statements are not fluent please forgive

Welcome, dengxinjun, to ETO!

I know nothing about how Google translates from one language to another. I do know that it does, sometimes, do so rather poorly. In particular with Chinese (Mandarin?) to English (and, no doubt, with English to Chinese).

But, just so that you know, in this case of your first post, the translation was "adequate": I could understand what you were trying to say even if syntax and other linguistic issues were a bit odd...

Again, Welcome.

Welcome,

I looked for pictures of China Nanchang City on the internet. There are many new buildings and some very interesting old buildings. There is a great amount of water.

A lot of well to do business high rises and factory units, looks like a succesfull area.

Hi Xin Jun,

Welcome to ETO. By the way, his title was "Everybody is good" which was directly translated from "你们好", which means hello everyone!

Hi Deng, welcome to the forum.

Somewhere in their page it is explained how Google Translator works. That explains its good performance in technical matters and the poor one in more "literary" texts.

Kind of statistics approach, IIRC. Do you know that anyone could add to G T?

Some time ago, going from "cuñado" to "brother in law" or the other way round, failed. No it works.

Up to now, in my experience, the best translation of a whole text ever was about building an opamp with discretes writen in German. It made sense from A to Z.

In our language, as soon as you deviate from the "strict" / "literary" one taught at school, you start getting funny / incomprensible results.

Millions of years to being good, I think.
