Essential equipment: prototype board / PCB

Does anyone know good places to buy prototype boards in sydney, australia?

And i heard that it is possible to make PCBs by 'printing' using a printer. Is this really possible (it'd be hard because the board is rigid, so how would it fit in a printer and all) and if so, does that mean its chemical?
