Hi again to all,

Just looking at a circuit I made a while ago that wasn't too successful and with the little knowledge I have acquired from the forum I seem to be confused with the transistor in the diagram.

The tranny is marked up as 2n3904, which I am certain is an npn, but the symbol is for a pnp isn't it?

This is from the "engineers mini notebook" and I was hoping someone could just check the circuit for me and confirm either way which it should be, maybe thats why my circuit didn't work as it should?

Thanks for reading this and for any replies.......Al

Bugger, forgot to click upload..... DOH! Sorry about that Nigel:eek:
