Encoding the Signals

Where can I get the sample firmware code for encoding the signals and sending through the IR transmitter. The microcontroller used is PIC 16F627. IR transmitter is Vishay TSAL6200.
Shall I use the RC5 (IR-coding scheme) to encode the signals?. Please give some suggestions on this.

I dont have the firmware, though when I built my own, I found the idea in **broken link removed** very useful. In addition, **broken link removed** explains the RC5 protocol. Between the two, it was easy to build the encoder.
