I am looking for a low-cost board (such as an ethernet IP relay) that, upon contact closure, can send a pre-defined email via an internet connection.
Anyone have any suggestions?
TIA
Marty
I recommend looking into a Raspberry Pi or similar board. It's a cheap, credit-card-sized computer that has a GPIO header as well as internet connection capabilities. It will require some coding but will definitely be a good platform with which to start:
Tks for the reply.
Yes, I know about the Pi etc but I was hoping for a quicker PnP solution. The relay boards I found are relatively large and expensive.
