Electronic writing device

I am an aspiring writer who still finds it easier to do my writing with a pen. Is there somewhere out there, a text capturing device that will handle and translate novel sized files?

I saw such a device at BJ's wholesale store. It has flash memory with USB interface to down load periodically to computer.

Looks like it is targeted to students.
