Hi All. I'm new to the forum - looks like a great place!
Has anyone here ever seen an electrolytic cap made with TWO crimped ends? This puzzled me. It looks like an NP (bi-polar) type, yet it still has polarity markings. The circuit is part of a peak detector (VU meter).
The schematic shows it's polarized. The words 'VENT' are also stamped onto it, and it's a Chinese import - brand name Fe Yung, 220uF/35V. In the schematic, the negative terminal connects to -15V.
