I don't really want to spend a lot of money and have most of the base materials for electronics. I want to build something similar to my friends electric tennis racket for bugs. I've researched different things and couldn't find out how shocking pens worked but i assume they work in a very similar way to what I'm trying to build, a shocking rod if you will. I'm unsure if i just need to build a capacitor and wire it up or what i need to do.
