Thanks alot for the help

are deriviates always phase shifts?

Rate of Change is always a derivitate then a rate of change is a phase shift?

no not really

dv/dt of e^v = e^v

dv/dt of 5v (ie a slope) = 5

you are entering into the world of Calculus and it is a massive topic

Thanks

Variable-Symmetry Waveform Generator

How do i study the Symmetry of waveforms?

Their is Mirror Symmetry and Complex Symmetry , Reverse Symmetry
and others types of waveform symmetry

There is Asymmetry waveforms what are they?

From a electronic tech. what are the rules or theory of waveform symmetry?

I'm new to this waveform symmetry why would a tech. or design needs to know about the waveform symmetry?

Have you checked the dictionary for the word "symmetry"?

and isn't this the stuff you learn in grade 6 math or something? (lines of symmetry)

Yea but what about electronic waveform symmetery isn't there like alot of different types and theorys about wavform symmetery?

I'm new to waveform symmetery what would a electronic tech. be looking for in waveform symmetery?

Then only thing i know about waveform symmetry is some symmetery is odd harmonics and other symmetery is even harmonics which symmetery patterns are there?

What are some electronic symmetry patterns?

What does odd harmonic symmetery waveform patterns look like?
What does even harmonic symmetery waveforms paterns look like?

Here is a software that someone told me about...

**broken link removed**
or
**broken link removed**

It is written in java. You need to use IE and need to allow the certificate warning and also ignore the adware/spyware warning if your antivirus gies any. There is no adware...just resembling code.

It allowy you only basic digital waveforms.... So far that I have used...

Looks like it has been copied from the site ttp://www.timingtool.com/menu/ttlite/try_me.php

Don't know if it is illegal or not!!!!
