Hi everyone! :)

I'm new here as well as in micro-controller programming. I was wondering if someone has succesfully used a USB-to-RS232 adapter to program microcontrollers?

What programmer did you use?
How do I configure it if there's something that is needed to be configured?
Do I need a specific USB-to-RS232 adapter for it to work?

I'm currently using a JDM programmer and I am also experiencing the verify address errors :( . I have read that this programmer is unreliable in many cases.

What serial port programmer can you recommend?

Too much questions to asks. Sorry. I feel that micro-controller programming is fun and I'm very eager to learn it. ;) :D

BTW, im using PIC16F84A if that helps. :D
