i was wanting to make a vhf transmitter that i could connect dvd player's, video game systems, ect. does any one have schematics for one

What's the frequency and what are you using for a receiver?

you want to transmit it to long distance or within your house? if so there are many ready made modulators, you can simply plug and use.

or do you want to assemble it by yourself? its not so easy as you think to get it done, if you are interested we can post a diagram for you.

I want it to be able to transmit at least 15 feet and so i can just have my tv on channel 3 and it will pick it up. What would i need to make one?

very cheap ready made modules are in market you better use that.
