Hi all:
I am looking for a DMM that can do internal resistance down to 1 milli Ohm. (12 VLead acid batts )

Is the Fluke 289 capable of doing that with it's 50 ohm range , 1 milliohm resolution?

No. Its resistance measurement assumes an unpowered circuit. It will be protected from damage on powered circuits but it won't measure resistance correctly on any circuit that has power on it.

Measuring internal resistance or ESR need specialist equipment.

Thanks, I figured as much.

Guess I'll go with the Fluke 87V and do the V+IR math using it's 10uV resolution.
