I have about 25 gal of Ammonium Persulphate that was used to etch. I need to get rid of it and want to do it 'right'. Here's what I think I should do, can someone please advise if it is correct or if there is a better way:

1. Use electrolysis to plate out the dissolved copper (??? Does this work ???)
2. Neutralize the Ammonium Persulphate solution with soda.
3. Siphon off the neutralized liquid (water) to the household sink (sewage system)
4. Take out the remaining wet sludge from bottom of barrel.
5. Evaporate water from the sludge until it is dry.
6. Dispose of dry sludge in an enclosed container in landfill.

Can someone who has done this before please help!

Thankyou.
