Hi
I'm about to fixing my speedometer for my motorbike, and just happen to have located the fault. It's a tiny diode from VISHAY/General Semiconductor, on the diode it says 16 and 39. Does anyone have a clue what this means or where I can finde some info about it?

thanks in advance
Janus

A good high definition picture would help. Does the diode show signs of damage as in burnt? Trying to guess how it figures into the circuit is just about impossible, the few provided numbers don't help much. :(

Yea, it is simply a diode that is manufactured from vishay.

How does it looks like? (picture)

Just a wild guess, could it be a BAS16?
