What voltage and current rating diode do you require.?

I cannot find any that have say, a 0.5Vfwd at 1A in Ge.

I think you mean lower forward voltage? Schottky diodes are usually rated at 0.2V and below, check 'em out.

or less than 100v also acceptable my voltage going through the diode is only around 15v but 1A is the minimum ...
