HOW WOULD I PROGRAMME A PIC TO DETECT A VOLTAGE....?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP

JF

PS I THINK THE PIC IS = PIC16F627

Well, you didn't mention what kind of voltage you want to detect... TTL leveled, AC/DC, milivolts or kilovolts. Give us more info. 16F627 is not the best PIC to detect various voltages (due to Missing A2D), but you still can use it's Comparator module with Internal volatge reference to measure the voltage...

And please use lovercase like this and not like THIS.

Upercase is considerd as yeling. So get your fingers from the CapsLook key

SHOULD BE LOOKING AT MEASURING BETWEEN 0-14 VOLTS DC

For a start, please don't use use capital letters, it's 'shouting' and is considered rude!.

You also need to be giving far more details of what you want to do (including the resolution required), but a 16F627 doesn't include any A2D, and it would be FAR better to use a 16F819 or 16F88 - both of which are enhanced versions of the 16F627.
