Hello.
I have been given a few choices for designing and building a circuit. I must deliver it in 2 days , so any fast help would be really appreciated... I am a bit clueless with designing circuits since sadly they teach us nothing like that.

Some of those projects are :

1)UPS with Vin 230V/50Hz , Vout 230V/50Hz , max250VA
2)Linear Power Supply 0-12V / 0.5A , stabilize with Transistor /I.C.
3)Battery Charger NiCD or NiMH.
4)Light Regulation with TRIAC. max 500W , 220-230 V
5)Electronic Switch 500W with L behavior ( i dont know the word in english)
must be zero-crossing
6)Electronic Fuse for AC for 24 V AC and Imax = 500mA
7)ELectronic Fuse for DC for 24 V DC and Imax = 1000mA

If you could tell me which of those circuits is easier to perform , and if u can help me find a drawn circuit for those , with a bit of mathematical analysis , or overall analysis of components (What is the purpose of each component)
i would be really gratefull.
Please help me! I have 2 days time :(

How long have you had to do this?

Do your own work, if you don't have a clue then you deserve to fail - sorry that's just the way life is.

I had a "whole "week to do this. I have no clue as do my co-students because if you read what i said , THEY DONT TEACH US ANYTHING ABOUT CIRCUIT DESIGNING. You try to design a circuit when they only thing they teach you is how to use a multimeter and put wires in circuits.
If you dont have anything useful to say , better not say anything at all.

Then if you all fail the lecturer will look bad, why would you want to make a crap lecturer look good?

I have found this
**broken link removed**
which is an easy and cheap circuit to construct.
But can someone help me with some details on how it works ,and whats the role of each component?
Or if you have something on my first post , would be nice anyway

yea i knew about the transformer and bridge , my problem was mostly with the resistors and diodes , which is prolly in the wikipedia article. Thanks a lot for the help.

I feel like one of my ex 13yr old kid doesnt want to earn
it like I did ,but there is always a way to get by but
why should someone hire you if you can't deliver the work
thankfully he got the message
he's 29 now and makes 60k yr
the leatherman

What are you going on about?

the fact that he said he had two days to left to build this
circuit ,maybe i misunderstood his intentions, i've been tinkering
and making stuff and sure i've asked for help lots of times and got it
but i was echoing what others asked he had lots of time to ask for help and for some time to ask for help he's in a classroom environment

2)Linear Power Supply 0-12V / 0.5A , stabilize with Transistor /I.C.

6)Electronic Fuse for AC for 24 V AC and Imax = 500mA
7)ELectronic Fuse for DC for 24 V DC and Imax = 1000mA

That seems like kind of a wide variation...
